Avantek moves towards even better customer service

Avantek Machinery is continuing its programme of growth by moving operations to bigger and better premises, with additional room to expand further still in the future.

Formerly based in Riddings, Derbyshire, with an office in Bolton, Avantek has now relocated all operations to the new site at Cotes Park Industrial Estate in Alfreton.

“We’ve already built a well-earned reputation for revolutionising lead times across the industry,” said Dave Watts, Managing Director of Avantek. “This move will help us to enhance that even further.

“What sets us apart from our competitors is that we carry a wide range of machinery in stock, so customers can often take delivery the week after we’ve received their order. Having extra space will allow us to hold even more stock of our most popular machinery.

“We’ll also be able to keep an even greater supply of spare parts, meaning any breakdowns can be resolved with as little delay as possible.

“The larger premises mean that we’ll be able to build and test more machinery in advance of installation, which will be vastly reduce the amount of time spent on site and means our customers will get their machines up and running much quicker.

“As a result of the move we’re able to streamline our office set up to improve efficiency and allow even faster response times.”

With expertise and support from a team with vast industry experience, Avantek is part of the Flamstead Group, a division of Quanex Building Products and one of the London Stock Exchange’s ‘1000 Companies to Inspire Britain’ for three years running.

Avantek Machinery was formerly known as Wegoma Machinery Sales, changing its name in 2016 to reflect the growth and expansion of the company.

An official dealer for both Wegoma and URBAN machinery, Avantek also offers the highly successful Supercut machining and cutting centre in a choice of sizes. With a focus on customer service, the Avantek team can help take the pain out of ordering new machinery and changing window systems.
